18 Month Photos of my boys

Molar+Sick babies='s tired parents

The good news is the boys are finally feeling better, Sunday thru yesterday was a blur of puke and poop! Doc visits for them, and Dentist and Doc visits for Mackenzie. I have lost 6 lbs in 4 days which is good for my diet, lost over 30 now, but not good for my well being. They are playing today. They are biting more b/c of their molars, and the Dentist said not much besides say no to stop.

The good news is we got black out curtains by Eclipse from Target they were on sale 12 a panel and we slept til 10 am today. I am in love with them. They block light, noise, and save on heating/cooling costs. Check them out.

Today is going to be a lazy day helping Mackenize study for TCAPS and playing with the boys, no agenda, shopping, to do list today.

Need to start blogging again!

So I haven't been on in a loooooong while, so much has happened, the boys turned 1 and now 18 months old. We had Halloween, Thanksgiving, Chritmas, Mackenzie turned 9, and we moved! I need to update some pics, but wanted to post I am alive just been on Facebook and busy with the kids. The boys are something now days, the run and fight, talk and give kisses. It is the best time! We are getting ready for Easter weekend. We have the kid's baskets done and outfits already, had the photos made, just need to go to an Easter egg hunt, make some cupcakes, and color some eggs :) This will be the first Easter the boys will be able to really do an egg hunt. I can't wait to see what they do! Happy Easter weekend everyone.

Brody took first steps!

Derek had been claiming he was walking from coffee table to the couch all day. Well I finally witnessed it! Took two or three steps without falling. He is always more advanced in the mobile catatgory than Mason. He crawled two months ahead of Mason, and loves almost running holding your hands and walking up stairs. Mason is just getting his first steps with us holding his hands. They are twins but are two totally different people. Some things they freakishly do the same, some they are on their own time. No pics for this post but I was so excited I had to share!

Sending out their invitations for 1st BDAY and new pics

So I finally got their invitations all made up. Mackenzie helped me last night put some stickers on them to make them extra cute. I still can't believe my babies are turning one. I still remember going in for all my betas and blood work, and my first ultrasound hearing, "I think we see a second heartbeat!" They are growing so fast and doing marvelous being born 8 wks premature. They are ahead of where they would be at their adjusted age on many things. I think the next milestone we are waiting for is walking. They crawl, pull up, cruise, roll, sit up on their own, talk a few words, wave bye bye, clap, feed themselves, sleep through the night, walk while hold our hands, Brody walks up stairs too, Mason is starting to give thumbs up too....so adorable.

I put up the bouncy seats yesterday, and the swing. I washed the covers for when I sell them. Derek is getting baby fever again too. I cried because I remember putting those things together for them and now they have out grown those things. I would love another baby, just right now isn't the best time, and I want to concentrate on them and give them the attention I was able to give Mackenzie in her younger years. I also am not sure if I want one at all, I really want to lose weight and get my Mommy makeover I was promised once I get my goal weight. Tummy tuck, implants, lipo. Some things....errr...need to be put back into the correct places, hahaha.

Here's some photos recently taken:

Mackenzie practicing for the boys
Mason reading the paper
Mackenzie with her new Twin Big Sis T-Shirt on

Mason wearing his new baby legs and showing off his new four teeth

Brody's classic mischievous look

Brody climbing the seats, see we got to put them away now

Mason in his red jersey and red socks playing with his blanket, he loves blankets and will play with them for half an hour rolling on the floor with one

I love this picture of Brody laying his head on the table, it captures his reflection

Pray for fellow Mother of Multiples.....

I have been following their story from the infertility board on the bump.com

They are going to lose one of their triplets, and she will live at most 48 more hours. Please pray for her family and be thankful for you little ones even on the days they make you pull your hair out, be thankful you are able to hold them and see them each day.

The link is also on my followed blogs, but also below. They had been beating the odds of a premature birth at 25 wks and now this. There are no words to express how I feel for them or to make their pain go away. I just am so sorry and praying they can find the strength to hang in there.

My heart breaks for them.

Pictures and updates

Here are the invitations and thank you cards I ordered for the boys first birthday party!

Brody loves dill pickles.

They loved their first tastes of pizza

It's been a long while since I have updated. The boys have gotten their top teeth, Brody almost has the last one in. I have been sick with a stuffy nose funk, and the boys have runny noses too! Mason had a fever of 102.4 last night and jumped to 105.4 after a nap today. It went down after a bath and medicine, and the doc wasn't too concerned unless we couldn't break it.
The boys are getting so much more mobile. Mason stands and crawls fasted, Brody is into everything and loves climbing stairs and walking holding on to my hands. They are so independent they don't like to be held unless they are tired or sick. So I have been holding them a lot lately.
We are planning their first birthday party which I am so excited for. It's the Winnie the Pooh first birthday them and I orders some cute invites and thank you card online from Justmultiples.com. They have to have special invites with two places for each name right..... I still am in awe how fast the year is flying by, and seeing my babies turn into little boys each day. I love them to pieces and even though I am up late and they are sick, I still love doing every minute of it.
